Blue Mountains

Stood there in awe - the sight culminated the passion of the Gods in creation!

Blue cordillera paving way for a corridor to ocular master-piece;

Forget work, forget worries, forget guilt, forget what all fate’s negation!

Stood there in peace; willing to get more of it, lessen the endured pain to cease

‘Will it be the same to see my place from the other end?

Oh Wait! Am I illusioned? Is it so beautiful just because it is far?

How different will it be there to where I am?’ – Thoughts wend!

‘You are beautiful on a whole! But, what if in reality you are subpar!’

‘Isn’t life the same? Do we not compare us with other and feel deprived

Do we not think someone is gifted in abundance when we are in tatters?

What looks from out, is not what it is inside! True not? Truth is so contrived!’

Walked out of the Blue Mountains, with wisdom that matters!
