In The End

He stood there beleaguered,
Oh dear! He shouldn’t have known
Oh dear! He would be fine,
Said no one, not even the crown,
He had dreams, so many of them
Should he wake up to reality?
Tear that apart and fly
Wish he could!
All he got was some parity

He stood, leaping out of the window,
His eyes searched for freedom
Bondages, he never liked, never did he
And turning the impossible on, not possible, he knew
Fate they call it as, he calls it demon!
Deprived of a better long life with love
He needed a hug by the angels
Devil kissed him in joy, instead

His time has come, “No” he said
He didn’t want his loved ones around
After all, he planned to leave alone,
Or, was it his plan even at all?
He felt tears falling on his folded arms
Looked up if it was raining,
Oh! He was inside his room and
They came down from a rather cold place!
His eyes! All furious and serious couple they were
Went sober at the end of the cliff

He raised his arms, lifted his chin up
Ate the bread and finished the wine in a gulp
Took the pearls of pills, all at once
Pain in body was no where
Near what was going in his mind
He smiled at those devils, back at them
Right into their eyes, he kissed them
They were on shame, for he was not afraid
He bid farewell to beings!
Both human and inhuman!
“One such inhuman is no more!”
He whispered and closed his eyes
To see his own world end!
